Job summary

Production Saw & Machine Co. in Michigan seeks an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our Long Run team on all shifts. You will operate CNC machines, load stock, monitor tooling, and ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, assembling steel components, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. We offer overtime, holidays, PTO, 401(k), and medical/dental coverage.

Qualifications

Production Saw & Machine specializes in innovative manufacturing solutions through personal attention to customer cutting and machining needs. We produce high and low-volume precision CNC machined parts for automotive suppliers, military, industrial equipment, agricultural, and heavy truck industries. Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our Long Run team on all shift. If you are passionate about precision, efficiency, and quality, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas:

CNC Machine Operation

• Manage one or more CNC machines to cut and machine metal workpieces to exact specifications.
• Load CNC machines with raw stock, monitor tool life, change tooling, and make necessary offsets.
• Package finished products efficiently and accurately.

Steel Material Production

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for steel assembly projects.
• Assemble steel components with precision, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Perform quality checks on assembled steel parts to ensure they meet required standards.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all machined parts meet stringent standards.
• Collect and document data to maintain accurate quality control records.

Maintenance and Housekeeping

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain the mechanical integrity of CNC machines.
• Ensure the work area is clean and organized, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.

You’ll support PSM’s success in the following ways:

1. Operating CNC machines: loading with raw stock, monitoring tool life, changing tooling, making offsets, and packaging products.
2. Ensuring quality standards with regular quality checks.
3. Meeting or exceeding efficiency and production rate requirements.
4. Maintaining the mechanical integrity of the machine through maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
5. Collecting and documenting data.
