Job summary

The Job Shop in Tiffin, Ohio is seeking a CNC Operator to join the machining department and support growth in equipment manufacturing. You will operate CNC mills and lathes to machine precision parts, set up work, load and edit CAM programs, and ensure parts meet print specifications.

The role requires knowledge of CNC Mills and Lathes, G-Code, blueprint reading, and the ability to read measuring devices. On-site position with first shift hours and overtime as needed, with competitive salary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC Mills and Lathes; HAAS and Mazatrol Controls a plus.
• G-Code knowledge.
• Blueprint reading is a requisite.
• Ability to setup work, load and make minor edits to CAM programs, machine parts per prints.
• Must be able to read and use measuring devices e.g. scale, calipers and micrometers.
• Capacity to operate a Forklift and Crane, training will be provided.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules.
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a dynamic and productive team.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic Computer skills.
