Job summary

Arnold Machine, Inc. seeks a CNC Operator to support its machining department and growing equipment manufacturing activities. You'll operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts, set up tooling, program minor CAM edits, and inspect parts to print specifications.

You will participate in a team environment, perform routine equipment maintenance, and contribute to cross-functional projects while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. First shift with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC Mills and Lathes (HAAS and Mazatrol controls a plus).
• G-Code knowledge.
• Blueprint reading is required.
• Ability to set up work, load and minor edits to CAM programs, machine parts per prints.
• Read and use measuring devices (scale, calipers, micrometers).
• Able to operate forklift and crane; training provided.
• Adaptable to changing project requirements and schedules.
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a dynamic team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

The CNC operator for our machining department is to support our growing activity in equipment manufacturing. The position requires the ability to operate CNC mills and lathes to machine precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Ability to set up work, select tooling, program and edit programs, and adjust speeds and feeds.
• Machine parts & Inspect parts, verifying measurements and tolerances are to print specifications.
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating work with other team members.
• Ability to work on multiple projects as well as be a member of a cross functional team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members.

Requirements

• Knowledge of CNC Mills and Lathes, HAAS and Mazatrol Controls a plus.
• G-Code knowledge.

• Ability to setup work, load and make minor edits to CAM programs, machine parts per prints.
• Must be able to read and use measuring devices e.g. scale, calipers and micrometers.
• Capacity to operate a Fork Lift and Crane, training will be provided.

• Willingness to learn and desire to contribute as part of a dynamic and productive team.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
