Job summary

Job&Talent US is seeking a CNC Operator in Shelby Twp, MI to join an automotive metal-parts environment. You will operate and maintain CNC machines, load/unload parts, and monitor quality with basic in-process inspections.

Entry-level role requiring willingness to learn SOPs, reliability, and the ability to move between machines. Safe work practices, daily record-keeping, and 5S participation are part of the job. First shift hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some overtime.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to move between CNC machines and handle parts continuously.
• Strong attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.
• Ability to learn and perform basic in-process inspections using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts while monitoring machine performance for quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including clearing chips, maintaining coolant levels, and lubrication.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools like dial gauges, bore gauges, and micrometers.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, materials used, and inspection results.
• Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of required PPE.

Job description

Salary: USD18 - USD18 per hour

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Operator to work with Rassey Skilled in Shelby Twp. This is an entry-level position within an automotive metal-parts manufacturing environment, focusing on the operation and maintenance of CNC machinery to ensure high-quality production standards.

Shift Patterns

• 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.


• Some overtime available when workload requires it.

Pay Rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for CNC Operator

• Must have willingness to learn SOPs: Able to follow standard operating, inspection, and reporting procedures with consistency.


• Must have flexibility to move between machines: Comfortable rotating to any assigned CNC machine and handling parts continuously.


• Must have strong attendance and punctuality: Must have reliable presence and on-time performance to support production schedules.


• Must have ability to perform basic in-process inspections: Capable of learning and using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.
