Wieland is hiring a CNC Operator responsible for operating CNC Lathe and Mill machines to ensure quality products. This role is located in Roseville, MI, and is fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $20.60

Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm

Pay Schedule: bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC equipment (load material, cycle start, unload material)
• Package and label produced products
• Inspect parts using gaging and metrology equipment
• Ensure product quality
• Document stock products
• Perform light finishing (drilling/deburring)
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist other departments as needed
• Perform basic machine maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience
• Experience in machining or a technical trade
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to perform computations
• Work independently to meet deadlines
• Organizational skills and decision-making ability
• Forklift/reach experience; ability to obtain license if needed
• Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to change inserts and make offsets within 3 months
