The Machining Operator is responsible for operating CNC/manual machines to manufacture various gears and components while ensuring compliance with quality standards and production requirements. This role includes machine operation, in-process inspection, documentation for traceability, and adherence to ISO 9000 quality system procedures.
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids.
Requires standing for extended periods and handling of materials/tools.
Most of the work is performed while standing.
This position is formally designated as a Safety-Sensitive Position under Arizona Revised Statutes (23-493). The duties of this role involve the operation, maintenance, and programming of high-risk manufacturing machinery (CNC equipment) where temporary physical or mental impairment could result in severe injury or property damage. Consequently, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
