Job description
Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (HAAS)

The CNC Machine Operator (HAAS) is a key member of our operations team, responsible for ensuring customer requirements for quality and delivery are met by operating CNC machining centers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate CNC machining centers in accordance with industry standards, including program edits, tooling setup, and machine preparation.
  2. Perform secondary deburring and packaging of finished parts.
  3. Transport products to designated locations using equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks. Forklift training is provided.
  4. Operate newer HAAS machining centers equipped with integrated probing and network communications.
  5. Handle parts ranging from less than 1/4 lb to 2000 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience operating CNC milling centers in a heavy manufacturing environment, with a 2-year technical degree in machining.
  • Proficiency in editing CNC programs, including fixture & cutter compensation, tool offsets, RPM & feed rates, and program modifications such as X-Y-Z coordinates.
  • Good understanding of optimizing CNC programs as needed.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HAAS controls.
