Job summary

Snyder Performance Engineering (SPE Motorsport) in Latrobe, PA is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to run Haas mills and lathes in a precision-focused shop. You will read blueprints, perform offsets, and work with programmers to optimize processes, with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC experience, familiarity with GD&T, and programming knowledge (Fusion 360, Mastercam) as a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machine operation experience (milling and/or turning).
• Experience with Haas controls preferred.
• Ability to read and understand GD&T, prints, and specifications.
• Programming knowledge (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (primarily Haas equipment).
• Load, run, and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic offsets, tool changes, and adjustments during production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the work area.
• Work closely with programmers and engineers to improve processes.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections.

All of our products are designed, machined, and assembled in-house at our 63,000 sq. ft. facility. We are a fast-growing, team-oriented company looking to add a skilled CNC Operator to our machining team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated CNC Operator to run Haas mills and lathes in a high-precision, production-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience and strong attention to detail. Programming knowledge (CAM or conversational) is a big plus and will allow for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (primarily Haas equipment)
