Job summary

Aerotek in Columbia Heights, MN is hiring a CNC Operator to run CNC mills and lathes in a modern, climate-controlled facility. You will support automotive, medical, and defense components with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualified candidates have 6 months to 3 years of CNC experience, familiarity with precision measurement, and the ability to read blueprints. Competitive shifts and growth opportunities are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 3 years of CNC operating experience or machining trade school program.
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Manufacturing and machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes in a production setting.
• Make basic machine adjustments, including feeds and speeds.
• Perform tool changes and monitor tool performance.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and minor production issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges and other precision instruments.
• Maintain quality standards and meet production goals.

1st Shift

Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

2nd Shift

Monday-Thursday | 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Weekend Shift

Friday-Saturday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

What You'll Do

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia Heights, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
