Background

Progressive Engineering Technologies is a domestic supplier of Military and Commercial aircraft parts, in addition to our engineering services business. We have grown significantly over the past few years and have developed a position to help us expand our manufacturing capabilities. This is an hourly position requiring expertise in CNC operation, assembly processes, emphasizing safety, quality, and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine safety and maintenance checks prior to each production cycle.
  • Calibrate, adjust settings, and clean machines to ensure good operating conditions
  • Use precision tools to inspect parts
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
  • Monitor output to ensure it meets quality control standards
  • Maintain detailed records of activity logs, defective units, and final products
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to streamline production processes and enhance product quality.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to company and industry safety protocols.
  • Document processes, adjustments, and troubleshooting steps to ensure accurate records and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to access to export-controlled information.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification or degree is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
  • Has analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while seated or standing
  • Comfortable working with small parts and precision work
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to communicate clearly with team members
Compensation

This is an Hourly Position…with a compensation range of $22 to $32 an hour based on experience and certifications
