Job summary

Woodward is seeking a manufacturing supervisor at our Illinois facility to lead front-line teams, drive operational efficiency, and ensure safe, on-time production. The role emphasizes lean practices, daily management, and data-driven decisions using Excel, Power BI, and SAP ERP.

Successful candidates will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in ERP/MRP environments and adherence to ITAR/EAR compliance.

Estimated annual base pay: $85,000(minimum) - $110,000(midpoint) - $136,000(maximum) Plus shift differential

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Provide direct support to front line team members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.
  • Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP. Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for inventory and production scheduling

This includes skills such as empathy, self-awareness, emotional regulation, social awareness, and relationship management to foster positive interactions and resolve challenges constructively.
