Job summary

Professional Placement Services seeks an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components. The role requires strong G-code/C-code skills and FANUC experience, with focus on tool paths and inline program adjustments.

Responsibilities include writing and troubleshooting G-code/C-code, inspecting parts with calipers, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling programming and setup experience.
• Strong knowledge of G-code, C-code, and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to understand and modify CNC tool paths.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, Gibbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills; no lathes onsite.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot G-code and C-code programs.
• Read and adjust tool paths as needed.
• Work with FANUC controls and make program edits at the machine.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure tolerances.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and vises and inspect parts.
