Qualifications

• Experience with a Hurco CNC Milling Machine is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders and blueprints.
• Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions.
• Sets up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting tools.
• Performs manual machining operations on lathes and mills.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
• Supervises machines while they execute tasks.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
• Completes production and quality logs.

Skills

Strong manual machining experience

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents

Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM

Mechanical aptitude
