Job summary

Flowtec Group is seeking skilled CNC Mill Operators for our Austintown plant. You will set up and operate 4- and 5-axis CNC mills, holding tolerances to .001 inch on long, precision parts used in plastics processing equipment worldwide.

We offer day and night shifts, overtime when needed, and a pay range of $27–$32 per hour depending on experience. Expect to read complex blueprints, select tooling, and verify parts with micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• 4 or 5-axis CNC milling experience - essential.
• Able to hold tolerance to .001".
• 2-3 years setting up and operating CNC milling equipment.
• Conversational programming.
• Confident turning, drilling, boring and threading across a range of metals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run 4 and 5-axis CNC mills.
• Hold tolerance to .001" across the run.
• Work from complex blueprints and drawings to pull dimensions & tooling instructions.
• Choose cutting tools and set speeds/feeds for alloys.
• Adjust machines for material, tooling or program conditions.
• Inspect own work with micrometers, verniers and calipers.

Location: Austintown, OH - commutable from Youngstown, Warren, Canton, Sharon and the wider Mahoning Valley

Pay: $27 - $32 per hour, depending on experience - standard benifits.

Shifts: Day and night shift available

Flowtec Group is partnering with a precision manufacturer supplying the plastics processing industry to add CNC Mill Operators at their Austintown plant.

Our client machines feedscrews, barrels and precision components that go into injection molding and extrusion plants worldwide. Long parts, large diameters, tolerances held to .001". This is skilled machining on serious equipment - not button-pushing on short-run production.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Setting up and running 4 and 5-axis CNC mills
• Holding tolerance to .001" across the run
• Working from complex blueprints and engineering drawings to pull dimensions, tolerances and tooling instructions
• Choosing cutting tools and setting speeds and feeds across a range of alloys
• Adjusting the machine to compensate for material, tooling or program conditions
• Inspecting your own work with micrometers, verniers and calipers

What You'll Need:

• 4 or 5-axis CNC milling experience - essential

• Comfortable on your feet 8-10 hours, with overtime when the schedule needs it
