Job summary

PrideStaff, Inc. is recruiting for a first shift aerospace tooling position in Ohio, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Strong GD&T and CNC programming skills, plus ISO/AS 9100 familiarity, are preferred.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, running first-part proofs, troubleshooting, and precision assembly of tooling. Requires HS diploma/GED; technical schooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma/GED or equivalent (technical school preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in CNC (G&M code) and manual milling/lathe.

• Run first-part proofs and verify settings to ISO/AS 9100.
• Troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, perform preventive maintenance.
• Assemble/disassemble aerospace tooling to precise specifications.
• Conduct manual grinding and manage thread insert repairs.
• Maintain production logs and shift handovers.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting blueprints and engineering plans, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Running first-part proofs and verifying settings to ISO/AS 9100 standards.
• Troubleshooting processes, adjusting controls, and maintaining equipment (preventive maintenance, 5S methodologies).
• Performing mechanical assembly/disassembly of complex aerospace tooling to precise specifications.
• Conducting manual grinding and managing thread insert repair/installation.
• Maintaining production logs and shift handovers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:HS Diploma/GED or equivalent (technical school preferred).
• Experience:Minimum 3 years of combined shop experience in CNC (G&M code programming) and hands-on manual machining (milling and lathe).

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of GD&T, proven ability to perform complex machine setups, strong mathematical skills, and excellent communication.
