Compressor Engineering Corporation is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to set up, machine, and produce complex parts on a CNC mill to tight tolerances with accuracy and efficiency. The role is on-site at our Houston facility and requires meticulous attention to safety and quality.

You will independently operate CNC mills, select correct tools and fixtures, and monitor machining parameters to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of machining experience with a CNC mill.
• Must know how to use precision measuring tools (micrometers and calipers).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to determine tolerances and operation sequences.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC mills safely and professionally.
• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specs to determine dimensions and processes.
• Sets up and runs CNC mills independently with minimal supervision.
• Selects tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
• Performs quality checks and ensures parts meet specifications.
