Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking Night Shift Machinists to operate CNC lathes and mills for aerospace components. The team emphasizes precision, quality controls, and meeting production goals. Candidates must be able to work 40+ hours weekly and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualified applicants should have a High School diploma or trade training, be U.S. authorized to work, and able to lift 20 lbs while standing most of the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or trade school.
• Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand majority of the shift.
• Team oriented, able to work in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and CNC mills (2nd shift).
• Work on 5-axis + machining setups.
• Perform deburr and hand finishing tasks.
• Inspect parts for quality and conformance.

Night Shift Machinist Positions

CMI Group is looking to hire machinists at our NORTH Phoenix location! Defense & Aerospace Manufacturing (North Phoenix - 101 & Cave Creek Rd).

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Night Shift Positions:

• CNC Lathes
• CNC Mills
• 5 Axis + Machinist
• Deburr / Hand Finisher
• Inspector

Requirements:
