Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on CNC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment systems.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and shop equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, diagrams, and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience coordinating with equipment vendors and service providers for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment diagrams, technical drawings, operating manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.
• Identify equipment problems through operational observation and the use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Dismantle equipment, inspect components, and remove or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes.
• Adjust, align, and calibrate equipment components and control instruments to support proper operation.
• Assist with the installation and relocation of shop machinery and equipment.
• Fabricate repair parts as needed using appropriate shop equipment and tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside service providers for complex repairs, replacement parts, and technical support.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories; prepare purchase requisitions, expedite orders, and verify deliveries.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance work.
• Help reduce downtime by communicating routine maintenance practices to production employees and monitoring compliance.
• Support facility maintenance and follow established safety procedures during all maintenance activities.
