Job summary

Hydrasearch, a U.S. manufacturer of fluid-transfer and control systems, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist in Stevensville, MD. The role focuses on setting up and operating vertical and horizontal mills, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality per AS9100D standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3–5 years in CNC setup and operation on vertical and horizontal mills.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
• Safety mindset and ability to work standing 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup for vertical and horizontal mills with proper workholding.
• Load programs, set speeds/feeds, run cycles, adjust for quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers against blueprints.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep logs.
• Follow safety PPE rules and document production metrics.
