Job summary

Aurora Technologies in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support quality and production, align with company goals, and help maintain safety standards. You will read programs, load them to machinery, use gauging tools, and troubleshoot production processes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic math and measurement skills, and a foundational understanding of equipment setup. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Teamwork within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectives.
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal ATI practices.
• Support all 6S and lean initiatives.
• Report any issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out duties.
• Prepare tools and equipment for safe and efficient production.
• Read programs and load them to machinery.
• Use gauging tools to read measurements on materials and finished goods.
• Implement the use of cutting tools in the manufacturing process when necessary.
• Troubleshoot the manufacturing process when issues arise.

Available Shifts:

• 1st: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 2nd: Monday-Thursday 3:00om - 1:30am

Job Description:

• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
• Ability to bend and squat
• Ability to work in an environment without a controlled temperature
