Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a skilled Machinist in Warsaw, IN to set up lathes and mills for production while ensuring quality standards. You will contribute to ongoing process improvements and maintain accurate production records using the DPI terminal.

The role supports a team-based cell environment and requires the ability to lift 60 pounds and work with precision measuring tools. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of CNC machining experience or equivalent

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Two years machining experience on CNC lathes and/or mills or four semesters of coursework.
• Vocational or HS machine shop training with one year CNC experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines, lathes, mills, or machining centers for production.
• Participate in ongoing process improvements.
• Record production through DPI terminal and maintain count cards.
• May perform additional cell responsibilities as necessary.
