Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Production Machinist (Starlink) - 1st Shift to manufacture and improve micron-tolerance machined parts in high-volume production. The role involves learning diamond turning, troubleshooting, and ensuring high uptime on multi-axis CNC machines.

You will work with aluminum and copper and read blueprints to complete operations, contributing to SpaceX's advanced technologies and production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up/operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• familiarity with micron-level tolerance parts and materials like aluminum/copper.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines for micron-tolerance parts.
• Troubleshoot alarms, repair tooling, and maintain best practices to maximize uptime.
• Complete machining operations from blueprints/drawings.
• Work with complex parts and various materials.
