Programs and sets up EDM, CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
Operates machines and monitors operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and make adjustments.
Runs production of component parts, perform specification checks, and makes machine offset adjustments as needed.
Adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications and troubleshoots and maintains the machines.
Performs advanced troubleshooting of the machines and program functions, edit and document program changes.
Tests accuracy of settings and programs.
Inspects parts using precision measuring tools.
Performs daily machine maintenance including maintaining coolant and oil levels.
Checks and changes fluid filters as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Swiss or Lathe) or equivalent.
Programming skills with an understanding of G and M-Codes.
Complete knowledge and application of measurement equipment.
Strong understanding of trigonometry functions and strong overall math skills.
Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints.
Basic PC skills and Windows navigation, the ability to send and receive emails, and log on to company websites without assistance.
Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.
Pay range $30-45/hour
