Job summary

Precision Castparts in Woodinville, WA is seeking a CNC Machinist to setup and operate turning centers, ensure parts meet specifications, and support lean manufacturing practices. You will interpret blueprints, adjust tooling offsets, and maintain tool wear to produce defect-free components.

Applicants should understand GD&T, use bore gauges and thread wire, and communicate issues clearly with team members. Prior experience with Fanuc and DMG Mori machines is preferred.

Qualifications

Proficient with CNC turning centers and tooling setups.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
Ability to measure parts accurately and adjust offsets.
Familiarity with hardened stainless steel is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Run multiple machines and manage tool wear while producing conforming parts.
Perform threading, boring/reaming, deburring, and prep for inspections.
Verify dimensions consistently and accurately.
Change cutting tools and adjust offsets as needed.
Continually optimize programs and observe lean manufacturing methods.
Adhere to PCC policies and BQMS standards in the work center.
