Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Rutland VT is seeking a CNC Machine Operator (III) to join our manufacturing team. This role requires efficient, safe operation of multiple CNC machines and the ability to read and follow customer specifications.

Shift 1: 7 AM–3 PM. Starting pay range: $17.75–$19.78. Responsibilities include following safety rules, performing limited set-ups, loading/unloading material, maintaining a tidy work area, and collaborating with the shift supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience with CNC operation preferred.
• General knowledge of small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and training; report hazards.
• Flexibility in job assignments and adaptability to changing business needs.
• Continually learn and apply new skills.
• Use vacuum lift and/or manually load CNC machines with plywood sheet stock. Unload, stack, and clean when cycle is complete. Re-set for new cycle.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, across departments and shifts on material status and production assembly issues.
• Confer with shift supervisor to coordinate and organize materials.
• Communicate well and get along with team members, actively listen, ask questions to understand, provide encouragement.
• Collaboratively support a cooperative and positive team environment.
