Elemet Group is seeking a Machinist II in Aitkin, MN to operate CNC machinery, set up workstations safely, and perform quality checks. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and document production data. The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, teamwork, and efficient production in a manufacturing environment.

The position offers hourly pay with range $20.00–$25.00 and requires at least 2 years of machining experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work 1st shift on-site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years machining experience and working knowledge of basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines to produce metal components.
• Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Report daily production quantities to meet parts-per-hour targets.
• Perform quality checks on parts and document results.
• Recall and input machine programs; perform minor edits as needed.
• Setup workstation according to safety standards for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and proper equipment maintenance.
• Assist with running multiple CNC machines when required.
