Job summary

Ullerta Drilling Technologies L.P. is seeking a CNC Machinist II to set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, reading drawings, and ensuring quality in a fast-paced shop in Fort Worth.

You will inspect parts, troubleshoot basic issues, and maintain equipment to meet tolerances while collaborating with a team for on-time delivery. The role requires 2–4 years of CNC experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years CNC machining experience required.
• Experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and quality inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machine tools, including lathes and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAM files, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform dimensional and attribute inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and go/no-go gauges.
• Conduct first article inspections and adjust machining processes to maintain tolerances.
• Troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate production and quality concerns with supervisors and team members.
• Participate in meetings, training, and development activities.
• Follow English language directions in reading, writing, and speaking.
