Job summary

American Flowform & Machining is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II for the 2nd shift in Billerica, MA. You will own your workflow, interpreting complex blueprints and running jobs on Fanuc, Mazak, and Mori Seiki controls to ensure top-quality components.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of experience, sharp mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
• Independent, detail-oriented and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes including changing inserts and maintaining tool offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Monitor production and adjust to meet quality standards.
• Perform inspections with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and similar tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Leads, Supervisors or Managers.
