Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce precision components for medical and aerospace applications. You will set up and operate CNC mills or lathes, read blueprints, and verify tolerances to ensure parts meet strict specifications.

You will select tooling, set offsets, and adjust feeds and speeds, performing in-process inspections using precision gauges. Adhere to procedures, safety standards, and 5S for reliable OEM delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T to maintain tight tolerances.
• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes for precision parts.
• Select tooling and set offsets to optimize machining processes.
• Adjust feeds and speeds to achieve required surface finish and accuracy.
• Perform in-process inspections with precision gauges and document results.

In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills or lathes, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and maintain tight tolerances on complex parts. You will select tooling, set offsets, adjust feeds and speeds, and perform in-process inspections using precision gauges. Working in an engineering-driven, quality-focused environment, you’ll follow regulated procedures, safety standards, and 5S practices while contributing to continuous improvement and reliable delivery for critical OEM customers.
