Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components that meet exact specifications. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate precision manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, CMMs, FARO Arms, milling machines, and other machining tools to produce high-quality components.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to fabricate, prototype, modify, and rework parts, fixtures, and assemblies.
  • Partner with engineers and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production challenges, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Perform precision measurements, inspections, and quality checks to ensure all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment through equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and adherence to established procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of experience in machining and/or fabrication with practical knowledge of CNC programming.
  • Training as a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator.
  • Highly proficient in reading blueprints.
  • Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and gauges.
Physical Demands
  • Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to climb stairs, steps, and ladders.
  • Frequently required to work on elevated platforms and perform overhead work.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
