Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in York, PA, who will operate a CNC machining center for Navy vessels. Responsibilities include using precision tools, performing fixture changeovers, and ensuring quality control on parts.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machines and must possess US Citizenship due to the nature of the work. Pay starts at $34.08 per hour with union benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read shop prints, mathematics, and program tapes.
• Knowledge of N/C controlled machines equivalent to trades training.
• Judgment to make decisions within quality and tolerance limits.
• Capability to perform physical tasks with light to average weight materials.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Defense contracts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC controlled horizontal machining center with rotary table.
• Perform fixture change-overs, loading/unloading parts, and inspection.
• Maintain tooling and monitor control messages.
• Complete PM check lists and assist in PM of the machine.
• Use precision measuring tools for finished parts.
