Job summary

Kingsbury, Inc. in Oshkosh, WI seeks a Machinist to operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, and grinders, reviewing drawings to produce precision bearings with strict quality control.

Responsibilities include setups, reading G and M codes, inspecting parts with gages, maintaining safety standards, and training other machinists as needed in a family-owned environment with a century of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of machining experience or technical diploma/associates with 2+ years.
• Experience operating mills, lathes and grinders and reading blueprints.
• Proficient with micrometers, bore gauges, calipers and indicators.
• Qualified candidates are expected to meet Kingsbury’s safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce precision bearings.
• Perform setups and read and interpret G and M codes and programs.
• Inspect finished parts with appropriate gauges and ensure adherence to specs.
• Document time and training colleagues as needed, and support continuous improvement.
