Job summary

PowerRail, Inc. in Exeter, PA, is looking for a CNC Machinist to operate and set up CNC machines, inspect finished pieces, and work from blueprints. The role includes mounting tools, adjusting feeds, and ensuring lubrication during operation.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay starts at $20 per hour with full benefits available. Experience with CNC equipment, safety practices, and the ability to read technical drawings is required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC machines and robots.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust tooling.
• Lift heavy workpieces up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specs.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform functions on metal workpieces.
• Mount and align tools and fixtures on machines.
• Review program specs or blueprints to determine operations and sequencing.
• Monitor machines and adjust for dull tools or vibration.
• Maintain machines and replace worn tools.
• Load finished items onto conveyors or pallets.
• Ensure proper lubrication and cooling during operation.
