Job summary

EPTAM Precision Plastics is seeking a CNC Machinist C - 4th Shift in Northfield, NH to operate CNC and manual equipment, primarily a Tsugami machine, ensuring production requirements are met.

The role requires the ability to load and feed machines, perform in-process inspections, and maintain accurate production records while following specifications and safety guidelines. Weekend/weekday schedule includes a 20% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Education includes a high school diploma, GED or trade school completion.
• 6 months manufacturing experience operating manual and/or CNC equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and process sheets; participate in improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual equipment to meet production requirements, primarily Tsugami machines.
• Load/feed machines, inspect parts in-process, and document dimensions as required.
• Suggest tooling, fixtures and process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain production records and ensure safe, clean work area.

Shift and Pay Details

4th Shift – Two 12‑hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, with two 8‑hour shifts on varied weekdays. Additional 20% shift differential applies.

Position Summary

Operate various CNC and manual equipment to meet production requirements, primarily operating a Tsugami machine.

Essential Functions

• Follow instructions with some judgment and execute procedures accurately.
• Suggest tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Load and feed machines to produce finished parts.
• Keep accurate counts of parts and maintain production records.
• Conduct in‑process inspections and document dimensions as required.
• Follow manufacturing specifications and procedures (process sheets, work orders, special instructions).
• Operate various types of equipment as assigned.
• Handle materials, parts, and equipment properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and supervisors, receiving and responding to feedback.

Other Responsibilities

• Identify quality problems in materials.
• Use the evacuation system to minimize exposure to hazards.
• Provide accurate turnover reports from shift to shift.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working habits.

Education and Experience

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or trade school graduate preferred.
• Experience: 6 months manufacturing experience operating manual and/or CNC equipment; combinations of education and experience accepted; internships and part‑time experience acceptable.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
