Job summary

Westaff in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Machinist Apprentice for a manufacturing company. The position is permanent, full-time with Swing, Graveyard, and Weekend shifts. Starting pay is $21 per hour, rising to $24 per hour after training.

You will load and unload parts from CNC machines, verify parts against drawings and the inspection plan, and help keep spindles running while upholding quality. Benefits include paid vacation and medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Machining training from trade school or college preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts in and out of CNC machines.
• Ensure parts are in compliance with drawings and inspection plan.
• Keep spindles running and produce good parts with quality.
• Note: additional duties may be assigned as needed.
