Job summary

API Heat Transfer in Buffalo, NY is seeking a CNC Machinist AA for the second shift. You will layout, set up and operate two CNC machines, read blueprints, and perform tool maintenance to produce quality parts.

Ideal candidates hold CNC certification or 3–5 years in a machine shop, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can contribute to our Lean Transformation effort while benefiting from health/welfare benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Requires CNC Certification or 3–5 years CNC experience in a machine shop.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow process specifications.
• Must be able to set up and operate two CNC machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs layout on rough and finished parts per drawings.
• Sets up and operates CNC machines and monitors tool wear.
• Maintains safe, clean work area and complies with procedures.
• Assists lower classifications machinists and performs part programming edits.
