Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a CNC Operator for the 3rd shift. You will set up, operate and adjust multiple CNC machines to produce parts that meet blueprints and tolerances.

This full-time role offers a $26.66 per hour base pay plus a $1.00 shift differential, company-provided PPE, health insurance and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should have at least one year of CNC experience or a machining certificate, basic blueprint reading skills, and a strong safety

Qualifications

• 1 year of CNC machining experience or machining certification from an accredited school or program
• Intermediate proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints
• High mechanical aptitude, vocational training or technical training

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and adjust various machines to produce parts that meet blueprint specifications in a production environment
• Ensure that parts being machined are within tight tolerances
• Perform a variety of associated functions to maintain continuous operation of the system
• Apply safe working methods
