Conductix-Wampfler is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift to support daily production and setup of CNC and conventional machines. You will work with various materials and assist with project-specific fixtures and setups to meet customer requirements.
The ideal candidate has an associates degree or apprenticeship in machine/tool and die technology, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and strong problem solving and communication skills in a quality-focused environment.

In this position, you will assist with daily production and scheduling and setup of both CNC and conventional machines. You will get to work with a variety of materials and components and work through special setups for customer projects.

Set up and operates conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years related experience and/or training; or a minimum of four years of job shop related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Or certification of completion of a Certified Apprenticeship Program
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical procedures. Ability to write. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
