Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who desires to join a growing organization and has an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.

The Parts Division is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift. MD&A offers a competitive base salary with significant incentive compensation and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Calculating dimensions and tolerances using math skills.
• Using in-house work tracking software to capture labor hours.
• Maintaining machine tools and related equipment according to schedule.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Working with Toshiba and Mazak Vertical Turning Centers.
• Designing setups based on blueprint requirements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with machine tools such as Horizontal Mill, Horizontal Lathe, Vertical Mill, and Vertical Turret Lathe.
• Experience with CNC and/or manual machine tools.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to read and use quality control tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
• Knowledge of shop math, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime and off-shift hours during busy periods.

Shift Hours:

Monday – Thursday, 4pm – 2am (40 hours). Additional overtime may include:

• Friday, 4pm – 12am
• Saturday, 2pm – 10pm
