Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a CNC machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes or mills using existing programs and tooling information. The role includes creating tool offsets, changing offsets on CNC equipment, and inspecting parts with MicroVu and Keyence.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in a machine shop. First and second shift options with potential shift differential are available, offering a structured manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Able to interpret blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot tooling problems to produce quality parts to specifications.

  • Complete thorough quality production documents: including but not limited to, First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others, as required.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling information (such as Mazak).
  • Make tool offsets as required.
  • Make offset changes on CNC equipment.
  • Inspection equipment/tools (such as MicroVu & Keyence).
  • Deburr parts as needed.
  • Work with little or no supervision.
  • Work cohesively within a team environment.
  • Complete thorough quality production documents: including but not limited to, First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others, as required.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

1st shift work schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 3:00 pm.

2nd shift work schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 12:00 am; eligible for shift differential pay.
