Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate and maintain precision machinery following blueprints and work orders to ensure quality parts.

The role includes logging production data in ERP, performing inspections with micrometers and calipers, and maintaining a clean 5S workspace. The position is safety sensitive and starts at $24.05 per hour with benefits beginning on day one.

Responsabilités

• Log time in ERP software and record production data.
• Read work orders, flow sheets, and drawings to determine manufacturing steps.
• Inspect parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Submit first article and final inspections to QA to verify dimensions.
• Run all parts required for the order and perform in-process inspections.
• Maintain 5S standards, keep area clean, and perform daily/monthly maintenance.
• Communicate with supervisor to ensure on-time completion of production jobs.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

The CNC Machinist operates and maintains machining equipment to produce precision parts per blueprints and work orders. This role includes performing inspections, logging production data in ERP systems, and ensuring quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Use data collection in ERP software to log time.
• Read work order, flow sheets and part drawing to determine all aspects of the job to be manufactured.
• Check, using manual inspection equipment, blueprint dimensions.
• Turn in first article and final inspection to Quality Assurance to verify dimensions and dimensions that were unable to be checked manually.
• Run all parts required for the order.
• Perform in process inspections during the production run.
• Keep work area and machine clean, practice 5S principles.
• Perform daily and monthly machine preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with supervisor to ensure successful completion of the production job.
• Complete any other task as directed.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Trained in minor control operations.
• Long periods of standing may be required.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for data entry and job tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay Transparency

The hourly rate for this position starts at $24.05. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
