Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks an experienced CNC Programmer/Setup Technician to join our precision shop. You will program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software, and perform complex setups to ensure tight tolerances on drill rods and related tooling.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, tooling offsets, inspecting parts to blueprints, and mentoring junior operators. The role requires prolonged standing and exposure to cutting fluids in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency in G-code programming.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances (±0.001 inches).

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software.
• Perform complex setups, including fixturing, tooling selection, and offsets.
• Machine close-tolerance parts from steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys.
