Position: CNC Machinist (Operator & Programmer)

We are seeking a skilled and precise CNC machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and Bridgeport mills. The ideal candidate will work independently, read mechanical blueprints, perform calculations, and program/make cuts to meet quality standards. Proficiency with measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators is required. Prior experience is necessary, with a focus on skill development during employment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, sketches, and work instructions to determine dimensions and configurations.
• Program machine operations using conversational or machine code.
• Edit programs and offsets as needed.
• Set up and operate machines from programming to completion.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain machinery and equipment cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail.
• Ability to calculate dimensions and organize operations.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attendance.
