Job summary

Peak Machining Group, Inc. in Skiatook, OK is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to interpret sketches and technical data and produce quality parts using conventional CNC equipment.

The role focuses on operating lathe and milling machines, reviewing drawings, taking precise measurements, setting up machines, and maintaining safety and clean workstations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally at least one year of CNC experience, with Okuma control knowledge

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year CNC experience.
  • Okuma control knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.
  • Review drawings and instructions for accurate production.
  • Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
  • Set up machines and select appropriate settings.
  • Plan task sequence to complete assignments.
  • Monitor production and adjust settings as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of finished parts.
  • Ensure quality output and document defects.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
  • Adhere to safety rules and quality standards.

Peak Machining Group, Inc. is seeking a full-timeCNC Machinist at ourSkiatook, OK location. The CNC Machinist is responsible for reading and interpreting sketches,prints, and other related technical data to produce quality parts using conventionalComputerNumerical Controlled (CNC) machine equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a minimum, thefollowing is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilitiesexpected of the CNC Machinist. These duties are not exhaustive and are subjectto change as the needs of the organization require.

  • Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.
  • Review drawings, instructions, or samples ensure accurateproduction of parts.
  • Take precise measurements forcutting or shaping.
  • Select appropriate machineand settings for given task.
  • Plan proper sequence of taskto complete the assignment.
  • Monitor production of parts,adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
  • Maintain inventory ofcompleted products.
  • Check output for qualityassurance and document defects.
  • Identify and perform requiredmachine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and cleanworkstation.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks.
  • Adhereto Company safety rules, regulations, and quality standards, handbook policies and procedures.
RequiredQualifications
