Job summary

DeZURIK, Inc. is seeking CNC Machinists for a second shift (Mon-Thu 3:00 PM–1:00 AM; Fri off). Starting wage is $34.17 per hour, guaranteed with a $0.50 raise every six months for 36 months, plus annual increases.

A $1.30 shift differential applies, bringing the starting wage to $35.47 per hour. A $5,000 hiring bonus is offered. Benefits include paid vacation/holidays, health and dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be able to setup, operate and program CNC machines.
• Ability to check own work for quality, safety and performance.
• Demonstrates leadership and decision-making skills, often with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program multiple CNC machine types (horizontal lathes, vertical borings, vertical/horizontal machining centers).
• Check own work and others for quality and safety using measuring devices.
• Actively promote DeZURIK Safety and Continuous Improvement programs.

• HIRING BONUS - $ 5,000 Starting Wage: $ 34.17 guaranteed .50 increase every six months up to 36 months plus annual wage increase.

Job Responsibilities

CNC Machinists must demonstrate the ability to efficiently setup, operate and program multiple types of CNC machines including horizontal lathes, vertical boring machines, vertical machining centers, and horizontal machining centers, etc. Has leadership and decision making skills, at times working with little or no supervision. CNC Machinists must have the ability to check own work and that of others as assigned for quality, safety and performance. Using multiple measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
