Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to produce precision components for medical and aerospace applications in Michigan. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and hold tight tolerances to meet strict customer and regulatory requirements.

You’ll inspect parts with precision measuring tools, adjust offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues while supporting continuous improvement, 5S, and safety initiatives in a quality-focused, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure tolerances.
• Hold tight tolerances to meet customer/regulatory requirements.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and adjust offsets.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T; verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and CMM as required.
• Adjust offsets to maintain part conformity and repeatability.
• Support 5S, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement in a team setting.
