Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Norman, OK is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:45pm). The role pays $20–$25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with steady, day-time hours in a leading manufacturing setting.

You will generate CNC programs, set up and operate mills and lathes, measure tolerances with micrometers and calipers, and perform routine machine maintenance while ensuring parts meet spec.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience operating, setting up and programming CNC mills and lathes.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift and Crane licenses.

Responsibilities

• Generate CNC programs with and without programming software.
• Set-up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts to specification.
• Operate measuring tools to verify tolerances and dimensions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CNC Programming using multiple platforms.
• Perform regular maintenance of equipment.

Job description

A leading manufacturer in Norman and South Oklahoma City is currently searching for an experienced CNC Machinist. This is a 1st shift position and the schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:45pm. The pay is between $20 and $25/hr depending on experience.

Some of the essential duties are as follows:

• Generate CNC programs with and without programming software
• Set-up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts to specification
• Operating knowledge of Micrometers, Calipers, and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions
• Demonstrated knowledge of CNC Programming using multiple platforms
• Regular maintenance of equipment

Additional Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
