Job summary

Excelco/Newbrook, Inc. (ENI) is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our project-based shop supporting DoD contracts. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances in a low-volume, high-precision environment.

You'll work with aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium, collaborating with engineers and quality teams to improve processes while maintaining DoD and internal standards. U.S. citizenship is required for DoD projects.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years CNC machining experience in a job or project shop.
  • Proficient with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens preferred).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or MIL-SPEC quality standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for DoD projects.
  • Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machines (nice-to-have).
  • CAM software experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360) (nice-to-have).
  • Prior work in defense or aerospace manufacturing (nice-to-have).
  • Active security clearance (nice-to-have).

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specs.
  • Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

  • Document work and maintain compliance with DoD and internal standards.
  • Work with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.

About the Role
