Job summary

Numalliance – North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a small batch production facility in a fast-paced shop. You will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, inspect parts, and work as part of a team or independently with a strong emphasis on quality.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of job shop experience, own inspection tools, and the ability to read blueprints and use G&M codes. 2nd shift is required with a flexible start time.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 6 years of job shop machining experience.
• Candidates must have their own inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc).
• Candidates must have performed their own part and tool setups.
• Familiarity with listed equipment and controls.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in setup, operation, and care of machinery.
• Proficiency with G&M code read/edit, Fanuc controls, Mazatrol, Conversational programming, Prototrac.
• Able to perform first article inspection and adhere to blueprint tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; follow safety procedures.
• Perform standard and periodic maintenance on equipment.

Position Summary

As a CNC Machinist for Numalliance – North America, Inc., you will perform machining and in-process inspection as outlined by shop paperwork, process documentation, engineering drawings, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in the setup, operation, and care of machinery.
• Proficiency with any of the following: G & M code read/edit, Fanuc controls, Mazatrol, Conversational programming, Prototrac.
• Able to perform first article Inspection - adhere to dimensions and tolerances found on blueprints.
• Have your own tools and knowledge of inspection equipment - calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges, etc.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform standard and periodic maintenance on equipment: chip clearing, fluid refill, etc.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Experience With Mills Such As

• Haas VF1 & VF3 3-axis mill center
• Hurco VMX 24, 42, 50 3 & 4-axis mill center
• Protrack or Bridgeport mill experience is a plus

Experience With Lathes Such As

• Mazak 250/350/450
• Engine lathe experience is a plus
• As a CNC Machinist, you must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Naturally, you must use good judgment and knowledge of machining, as well.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Candidates must have at least 6 years of job shop machining experience - No machine operators
• Candidates should have their own tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, parallels, etc.)
• Candidates must have performed their own part and tool setups.
• Familiarity with listed equipment and controls.
• Candidates must be agreeable to working the listed 2nd shift hours.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation to get to work every day.
• Ability to lift and move materials and parts as required. Please provide detailed experience in your prior job roles in order to be seriously considered.
