Omnitech Precision Automation in Kutztown, PA, seeks a skilled fabricator for a prototype environment. Fabricate parts to exact dimensional and angular tolerances and occasionally assemble simple fixtures and tooling.

You will work with designers and assembly technicians, interpret prints and 3-D models, and apply proper tooling, feeds, and speeds. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this on-site role.

Competenze

• Experience using milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment (manual and CNC-controlled).
• Experience selecting proper tooling and setting feeds and speeds.
• Ability to interpret printed part drawings and 3-D part models.
• Ability to interpret ANSI/ISO dimensioning and symbols, including geometric tolerancing.
• Experience with conversational CNC programming a plus.
• Ability to machine parts using verbal instructions and CAM software.
• NIMS training a plus.
• Experience working for a machine designer/builder a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and MS Outlook preferred.

The position is responsible for fabricating individual parts and assemblies from simple to complex in a prototype environment.
